DMCA / Copyright Notice
Last updated: July 2026
Galplanet respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the process below, and we remove infringing material promptly.
If your original photographs or content have been posted on Galplanet without your permission, you can request their removal by sending us a takedown notice as described below.
Filing a takedown notice
To report content you believe infringes your copyright, please send a written notice through our Contact page that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature (your full name is sufficient in an electronic notice).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) of the listing(s) or image(s) on Galplanet that you want removed, so we can locate the material.
- Your contact details — name, email address and, if possible, phone number.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
What happens next
Once we receive a valid notice, we will review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material promptly. We may notify the user who posted the content and provide them a copy of the notice.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice via our Contact page that includes your name and contact details, identification of the removed material and its former location, and a good-faith statement that the removal was in error. We will review counter-notices and may restore the content where appropriate.
Repeat infringers
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly post infringing material.
False claims
Submitting a knowingly false takedown or counter-notice may expose you to liability. Please only report content you genuinely believe infringes your rights.
